A small new born baby care is a compulsory subject for all parents and they have to pass this subject with good marks. However, newborn care includes caring for a baby overall, but some baby parts need keen knowledge and should be handled very carefully. In such parts, baby’s genitals are one of them. Usually, parents do not take this subject in consideration when it comes to newborn care, but they must understand that it is a very necessary part and they must take it very seriously.
To bathe your newborn and his genitals, do not offer your baby baths for hot tub and should always avoid baths with bubble. Such type of bathing way can irritate baby’s penile tissues by making it dry. Thus, parents must understand that while giving bath to your baby, do not stress over retracting your baby’s foreskin. Thus, the best thing in the matter of a baby’s penis care is that always leaves this thing alone, as by doing anything or interfering, it would not prove a good care but surely harm your newborn.
In case, your baby gets circumcises, parents must do something while providing newborn care and such care is more than cleaning penis with water or soap. Generally, when a penis gets circumcision, it looks red and a yellow colored secretion grows over it. But, this is a good sign for sure as it shows that the penis is getting normal. It is very rare that the sites of circumcision becomes infected and if it gets infected the redness and penis tip swelling etc can be considered as the signs of infection. In that case, consulting immediately a doctor is very necessary.
From doctor, such penis issues can be eradicated with some certain medication and parents must try to get things done as early as possible. Otherwise, such issues irritate a newborn greatly. Just like baby son’s, a baby daughter also need a special care for her vaginal area and parents must do all required things to keep their baby daughter clean and happy always.
To clean your newborn baby daughters’ genitals, you must get a bit moist cloth and with this cloth, wipe entire vaginal area from back to front completely. This process would stop any kind of bacteria to transfer in your baby’s anus to vagina. For a right maintenance of a newborn care, this is a very firm way, especially for genital care. While using a mild soap, parents must ensure that their baby must be properly rinsed off. After giving bath to your baby, the genital parts must be dried with some very soft and clean towel. While drying your baby’s genital part, never rub genital areas vigorously, but it must be rubbed slowly and carefully, so that your newborn’s sensitive skin must not get damaged.
Thus, a newborn care must include baby’s genital parts as a necessary process. Parents usually overlook such things, and later their child has to suffer for all this. To avoid any type of complication in your baby’s life, do care of your child in their initial days of life. |
